Morning Mimosa

Morning Mimosa is a morning show where, you guessed it, the hosts and everybody in the audience drinks mimosas. They’re the cliche talk show, with the dumb fad diets, loud music, and dancing! Francine and Klaus love the show. Steve is playing a video game and Francine has asked him to set the table twice now. She pulls the cord on the game & Steve says “F*ck you!” Francine is very mad at Steve and she lets him know. She is ignoring him and will not cook for him. Steve gets up later for the leftovers and Francine is sitting at the table with Steve’s friend Barry. Barry is eating the leftovers. Steve is out of clean laundry and Francine did not do his laundry. He says that he can do whatever Francine does, but better. Steve can’t cook or do laundry. Steve’s friends Snot brings Steve some food and tells him to learn how to cook and take care of himself. Steve can cook, do laundry, and suck the venom out of snake bites. Steve cooks pancakes and Francine thinks it’s a peace offering but he doesn’t offer her any and she gets very mad. Steve started making YouTube videos to piss of Francine. Charlie Greenfield from Morning Mimosa comes to the house to get Steve on the show. Francine is worried that Steve will not be able to handle the hostile environment that Morning Mimosa has. The crowd is going crazy because there were two dancing monkeys on before Steve and they weren’t dancing enough. It’s Steve turn to go on the show and he is very nervous. He makes a mac & cheese omelet on accident because he missed his mom. Steve reveals that he has a mom. Francine shows up to save Steve and they have to climb on the rafters to get to safety.

The episode started off with Hayley and Klaus at the roller derby. Hayley approaches the team she was routing for and decides that she wants to try out for the team. Hayley tells her family that she wants to try out for the team. Steve decides to go out to watch Hayley try out. Steve is a great skater but Hayley cannot. The house is falling apart at home and Francine wants Stan to fix it but they employ a carpenter, who is most likely Jesus. Steve joins the team so that Hayley can join too. Steve and Hayley win the match for the team. They go to the captain’s body shop for a celebration dinner. Steve is trying to hook up with a girl on the team named Devin. Steve and Devin kiss in a pile up during a match. Devin tells Hayley that she and Steve are dating. Hayley tells on Steve for being a boy but everybody already knew. They tell Steve that he is a lesbian trapped in a boy’s body. Hayley gets kicked off the team because she tried to expose Steve by pulling down his pants to show his genitals. Steve and Hayley sing about their troubles. Jesus makes the Smith household awesome, but Stan and Francine are less than thankful. Steve realizes that he’s a boy in a boy’s body and breaks it to the team. They still compete with him pretending to be a girl. 

Dreaming of a White Porsche Christmas

The Smith’s are having a Christmas party and Stan invites Steve’s school’s principal to the party. He stops by and Stan is very excited because Principal Lewis is a badass and does whatever he wants. Stan is a little jealous. He is tired of Francine telling him what to do all the time and his kids being the way they are. When he puts the star on top of the Christmas tree, he wishes that he had Principal Lewis’s life. When he wakes up the next morning, he is in his house, but it is obviously a single man’s house. There’s a pool table in the living room and a sad little Christmas tree. He goes into the garage to find a white Porsche that Principal Lewis owned. Oh yeah, Roger is there with him because he was grabbing Stan’s butt when he wished. Stan is really enjoying the single life but he wants to see Principal Lewis to help him enjoy it further. Lewis is nothing like he used to because he got Stan’s life in the wish. He is much more reserved. Stan finds out that he is married to Francine. Stan gets upset and tries to wish for his family back but it is not working. Stan takes the family hostage and Lewis works for the CIA so they wait outside of Stan’s house. Francine tricks Stan into letting the family go. Stan gets away from the CIA and jumps off a bridge because he doesn’t want to live in a world where he is not with his family. As he jumps of, the CIA shoots him like 30 times and he hits the ground but he is still alive. According to an angel, he has learned his lesson and gets to have his family back. He is taken to a different family. they are Stan’s ideal family. The wife has brown hair, his son plays football, and his daughter is very girly. Stan finds out that this is his real family and the family he started with Francine was given to him as punishment. Stan tries to wish for his old family back again but fails. He tries to get Roger to wish for it too, but that fails. Then, Stan makes fun of the fact that this wife cannot clean well, which agitates her. He gets her to wish they weren’t married and put the star on the tries. Stan wakes up and he is with his old family again.

Now and Gwen

Francine is having a bad dream about her sister Gwen. Gwen turns into a fire monster but Francine wakes up before anything happens to her. Stan & Steve are talking about how attractive Gwen is at the breakfast table but Hayley makes her opinions of Gwen very obvious. She is a criminal & Hayley thinks Francine should kick her out of her life. Stan teaches Steve how to hug in a more sexual manor. Gwen’s probation officer shows up to the Smith’s house & Gwen tells Francine that she has to lie to help protect her. Gwen says that she has been at the house for 18 months now & that she’s been helping Francine learn to walk again. Roger is leaving to go see an old friend who is sick while Klaus takes care of Roger’s duty of “flashes the lights on and off while waving his thunder sheet and pointing out drama.” Gwen is selling fake cellphones out of the Smith’s house. Roger went to see his friend, who knows where some buried treasure is, and he is in a coma. Meanwhile, Stan is teaching Steve the art of hugging. Gwen makes Francine drive her to a town to sell a liver. Gwen takes the money & takes the liver form the buyers & Francine is the getaway driver. Hayley stands up to Gwen and she leaves but says that Francine will regret it. Steve has the perfect hug with Gwen. Hand on lower back, crotch to thigh, face in cleavage, and WHAT’S THAT? A butt grab! Stan parades Steve around the house with him on his shoulders, hitting his head & knocking him out. Francine asks where Gwen is & Hayley says she kicked her out. It comes out that Francine burned down their old high school & Gwen was blamed for it & now Gwen is going to burn down the school & frame Francine. Gwen took the blame for Francine. Hayley & Francine get to the school & Gwen is pouring gasoline on the floor of the science lab. They make up but still start the fire with cigarettes. Francine takes the blame. We see a prison and find out that Stan called in a favor to get Francine out but Gwen is in jail for violating parole.

“You elbowed my boobie!”

This is a video clip from the episode of American Dad called “Stanny Boy and Frantastic” The clip is of Stan and Francine. Stan and Francine did not have many friends in this episode so they decided to make some. They stole their daughter’s tickets to a show and sold them at the front door to the couple next to them and this happened. This is one of my favorite episodes and I am glad it came up in the search.

I suppose this video should not be available for commercial use because it is taken directly form the episode. I think it falls in the category of entertainment. It is a small portion of the episode so that favors fair use. I know that, on YouTube, you are allowed to play 10 seconds of a song before your video is flagged for copyright infringement. It is accessible on the Internet so it is falling more towards the “opposing fair use” category. Long story short, don’t steal people work. It’s really shitty to do and super uncool. When somebody makes something, they are proud of it and you should not use it without their permission! Have a good night everybody!

CIAPOW

The newest episode of American Dad was a little disappointing. It starts with Stan and his CIA buddies about to take out a building when a drink takes it out before they did. The guys decide to steal the president of Thailand’s inhaler to prove that they are needed. They were found out and went on the run. They were chased through the red light strict and then they were chased into a Burger King. They went back to their hotel and then they were captured. they were drugged with truth serum. They all crack eventually and they find out that it was Stan’s fault even though he was blaming the group for them getting caught. They end up escaping but then decide to go back for the inhaler and then are captured again. Their boss, Bullock, rescues them in the end.

Meanwhile, Francine, Steve, Roger, Hayley, and Klaus are having a slow race? I’m not sure what to call it. This was my favorite part of the episode. The five of them race across the room trying to go as slowly as possible. It was the best part of the episode. I hope that next week’s episode is better!

Padre Americano!

My favorite show on television. Always.

American Dad was dropped by Fox and picked up by TBS. I’m going to miss the Sunday Night Lineup though! I was Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, and then American Dad. My roommate and I used to sit down with a plate of chicken and watch them but now it’s ruined! Oh well.

The first three episodes of the season aired on Fox. The last one aired on TBS.

Episode 1 – Roger Passes the Bar
Roger is killing himself from working too hard. He gets sick and sells his bar to a chain. He becomes the chain’s representative and helps them make more money. He eventually buys the bar back and he is much happier. A new neighbor moved into the neighborhood and she is a registered sex offender and she employees Steve and his friends to fix up her house by flirting them and implying she was going to have sex with them. It turns out that she flips houses for a living by making young boys do it for her. Very funny episode! It was funny how Steve and his friends knew how to fix up a house, they were like master carpenters and it was hysterical.

Episode 2 – A Boy Named Michael
Roger is upset that the neighbors across the street, Greg and Terry, live a much more sophisticated life than he does. He says that Stan and the family are white trash. Greg and Terry announce that they are adopting a son from Russia and Roger intercepts the child, throws him out of an airplane, and pretends to be him so he gets adopted into their family. He loves the house and everything in it but then realizes that Terry is white trash also and decides to kill him. Terry realizes that Roger is going to tell Greg about his white trashness and decides to kill him as well. There is this whole awesome scene in the bathroom of a restaurant where Roger talks about killing Terry and people hear him in the bathroom so he says that he is going to kill him. A few people come out of the stalls and one of them happens to be a cheerleading squad and they have a tshirt giveaway and ah it was hysterical. Roger and Terry end up fighting on a canoe and Terry thinks that he kills Roger but Greg says it’s okay because Roger didn’t fit in anyway. Roger is upset and then goes back to the Smith’s.

Episode 3 – Blagsnarst, A Love Story
Roger and Francine find a spaceship in the forrest and it turns out to be a furry female alien (voiced by Kim Kardashian). She and Roger date/hook up and then Roger decides to dump her. Roger tries to get rid of her but he can’t seem to shake her because she won’t let the relationship end. Roger tries to get rid of her by calling the CIA but then realizes he can’t let her get killed. He drives his car off the road after jumping out. The car crashes and goes up in flames, the furry alien’s fur burns off the reveal Kim Kardashian.

Episode 4 – Blonde Ambition
Hayley realizes that she does not get heard because she is not blonde. She dies her hair blonde so that she can get people to listen to her about her causes. She parties super hard, thinking that she is spreading awareness, but the people are not listening to her because the only reason they are talking to her is because she is pretty. She realizes that nobody is listening to her and frees the whales pulling the cruise ship she is on. She thinks she is helping but she ends up causing a huge oil spill. Stan becomes annoyed with all of the flyers being taped to his doors but then realizes how great the deals on them are. He decides to look for a new house. Stan and Steve go to a new house and hang out there but the guard dogs end up cornering him, but they get away. Stan sees that he would have to walk extremely far to get his mail and decides that it is not the right place to live.

Pilot

This “Pilot” is to explain what my blog is about. I watch a lot of television. I want to work in television someday, so I consider it homework. On this blog, I will give summaries of the television shows that I watch weekly. I will recap and rate these shows on their respective days.

Setting up the blog was very easy. I have used WordPress before so I had an idea of what to do. It was difficult to come up with an idea for the blog but once the focus was chosen, I had no problem coming up with ideas for it.

I am very excited to start this project and I hope it fulfills everybody’s (and my own) expectations. The shows that I am most excited for this Fall are American Dad and Bob’s Burgers!
